Movement Studio OpensPrivate movement training studio PhilosoFit recently opened its doors on Lumber Lane in East Hampton.
PhilosoFit was opened by private fitness trainer Ari Weller, who has been a year-round Hamptons resident for five years. The studio’s methodology is based on a principle, to “build a better body by first building a solid movement base.”
The studio’s techniques can be catered to a wide variety of clientele, from athletes to mature adults dealing with challenges of aging. Before beginning training, PhilosoFit’s movement specialists review the goals and limitations of each client through a series of tests and a thorough interview.
“We measure each client’s movement quality before we instruct them into movement quantity,” says Mr. Weller. “In other words, we’re concerned about your efficiency and what you can withstand. This information allows us to develop safe, customized training programs that help our clients reestablish authentic pain-free movement while changing their bodies.”
