Word Theatre: A Benefit For Pushcart


“Telling Tales: Stories of People Being Mostly Bad to Each Other (and a Little Good)” will be presented by WordTheatre at Guild Hall on Thursday, August 15, at 8 p.m.

The night of staged readings starring Chris Bauer, Gary Dourdan, Toni Trucks, Polly Draper, Jason Butler Harner, Tracee Chimo, Ronald Guttman and Harris Yulin will benefit The Pushcart Prize Fellowships & WordTheatre in Schools. WordTheatre Artistic Director Cedering Fox serves as producer and director.

After the performances, participating artists will join VIP guests for an after-party hosted by Kathy Schenker and The Oster Family Foundation. Tickets to the readings range from $23 to $100. VIP tickets are $100. To reserve seats, call 324-4050 or visit guildhall.org.
