Southampton School DistrictHomecoming week is September 23 through 28 this year. Students will be participating in Spirit Days, playing in powder puff football games during extra help periods, and cheering on the varsity teams in a variety of games throughout the week.

The community is invited to attend the homecoming bonfire after the varsity field hockey game on Tuesday, September 24. The game against Hampton Bays begins at 6:30 p.m. and the bonfire will take place at approximately 8 p.m.

The homecoming parade is Friday, September 27, at 5:30 p.m., starting at Southampton High School, to Hampton Road, Main Street, Jobs Lane, Windmill Lane, Nugent Street, and back up Hampton Road to the high school. The theme is “Once Upon a Time.”

After the parade, the homecoming football game will be played at 7 p.m. against Greenport and the homecoming court will be introduced at halftime.

The week will culminate with a homecoming semi-formal dance on Saturday evening with the theme of “Roaring 20s.”
