Tuckahoe SchoolOctober is Anti-Bullying Awareness and Prevention Month and the Student Council is planning lot of activities for it during spirit week, October 21 through 2. The week will culminate with a “Stand Together” assembly led by Principal Kevin Storch.

This month is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and students and staff will show their support by wearing pink on Fridays throughout the month. In addition, each Friday, the staff will hold a breakfast to raise funds for the Ellen Hermanson Breast Care Center at Southampton Hospital and every Thursday in October, school nurse Wendy Meyer has our students making rainbow loom pink bracelets that will be on sale during the last week of October to also help raise funds for the Ellen Hermanson Breast Care Center.

The seventh grade outdoor educational trip is Tuesday, October 15, to Thursday, October 17. The eighth grade trip to Washington D.C. Trip is Wednesday, October 16, to Friday, October 18.

Picture retake day is Tuesday, October 29.
