The second annual East End Transition Fair for Students With Developmental Disabilities will be held on Wednesday, October 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria at Riverhead High School on Harrison Avenue.
The fair will address issues faced by students with developmental disabilities transitioning from high school in to the adult world. Parents and faculty from schools across the East End are encouraged to attend and learn about the adult services available for special education students. Representatives from a variety of agencies and area organizations will be on hand to give advice on recreation, employment and education opportunities.
The fair is free to attend. Riverhead High School is currently under construction and entry to the building is in the back of the building. For more information call, (631) 369-3517 or email email@example.com.
