Police believe that several people broke into a residence on Pheasant Close North on November 14, lifting two flat screen televisions, jewelry, a safe, cash and other assorted items. In addition, the same people are suspected of then stealing a 2012 Jeep Liberty from the residence.

The Jeep was recovered by authorities the next day, completely burned in a wooded area off of North Magee Street in Tuckahoe.

The Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of $5,000 for information leading to an arrest, and anyone with information about the crime is being encouraged to call anonymously to 1-800-220-8477.
