Looking ahead to the 2014-15 school year, OLH will see the completion of the new classroom extension to the Wellness Center that will house the expanded high school prep program for grades six through eight, as well as the upgrading of the technology program and continued showcasing of its fine arts program. High school prep study skills and expanded foreign language will be offered along with Regents programs in integrated math and biology.
An open house has been scheduled for Sunday, January 26, along with the Family Pancake Breakfast. A full breakfast will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon, hosted by the OLH dads and the seventh grade class. Tickets are $8 per adult and $6 per child under 12.
In support of its health and fitness initiative, OLH will welcome Kerchel Anthony, noted hip-hop master, who will conduct a cardio workout, KERBOOMKA, at the school on Friday evening, January 24, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend this event.
