Two Tuckahoe musicians have been accepted to music festivals this year: seventh-grader Isabella Lenihan is playing flute in HMEA, a conference selecting students from East End schools; and eighth-grader Jordan Klinge will be playing bassoon in SCMEA, Suffolk’s All-County Festival.

The Student Council is sponsoring a “SOUPER BOWL” food drive through February 3. Non-perishable food items are requested and may be placed in the collection box in the front hallway of the school.

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults will be held on Mondays and Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the school. All are welcome.

The PTO Family Fun Night at Southampton Youth Services will be on Friday, January 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Prekindergarten and kindergarten registration for residents of the Tuckahoe Common School District will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 12 and 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please call the main office at Tuckahoe School at (631) 283-3550 ext. 301 or 321 to make an appointment and for eligibility information.
