Earlier this year, several of her fellow agents from Town & Country were recently recognized for their public service.
Aaron Sacks, a licensed sales associate and former East Quogue Fire Department Chief, was elected as the district’s newest fire commissioner and will be serving a five-year term. Bruce Davidson, also a licensed sales associate, was elected the new Quogue Fire Chief.
Sundy Schermeyer, a licensed sales associate, was elected for a third term as Southampton Township Town Clerk. And Herb Philips, a licensed real estate broker, was reappointed as the Southampton Township Chairman of Zoning Board of Appeals.
Earlier this year, Theresa Quigley was named the Executive Managing Director and General Counsel at Saunders & Associates.
Ms. Quigley, a residential real estate attorney, is a former East Hampton Town Attorney and Deputy Supervisor of the East Hampton Town Board. She was formerly with the law firm Farrell Fritz in Water Mill. She will be based in Saunders’ planned East Hampton office and will serve as its manager. During the office’s construction, she will split her time between Saunders’ Bridgehampton and Southampton offices.
A native of East Hampton, Ms. Quigley began her legal career in 1983 in New York City and returned to the East End in 1988. Her practice has been focused predominantly on real estate transactions, including the transactional and land use sides. She has served as counsel to several real estate companies and lenders and served on many local boards. She and her husband, Tom, live in East Hampton and have five young adult children.
