Food Pantries Receive Donations

The law firm of Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo and Suffolk County National Bank recently awarded $2,000 to each of five East End food pantries.

The recipients were the Springs Food Pantry, Human Resources of the Hamptons Food Pantry in Southampton, the Long Island Council of Churches Food Pantry in Riverhead, the Open Arms Care Center Food Pantry in Riverhead, and the Community Action Southold Town (CAST) Food Pantry in Greenport.

This ongoing effort was started by the firm and the bank last year. They also conducted a joint holiday charitable giving campaign in November and December. It incorporated several events attended by members of the law firm, the bank’s staff and the general public. Supported by donations and contributions from numerous East End businesses, the net amount raised was $10,000.
