The school gymnasium was filled with activity last Thursday for the annual all school pep rally to support the high school basketball team, The Killer Bees, before their final games of the season. Cheerleaders India Hemby, Jennah Hochstedler, Tatyana Dawson, Jada Pinckney, Hayley Lund, Aries Cooks, Laura Uribe, Elizabeth Hochstedler, Tyler Stevens, Madeleine Koral, Rachel Hoyt, Nia Dawson, Cecilia Calieca and Sahah Negrete coordinated the activities, which included tug-of-war, a basketball hoop shooting contest, and the naming of senior king and queen of Spirit Week: Tatyana Dawson and Jerome Walker, along with their royal court.

The junior class is sponsoring a Valentine’s Day fundraiser called Love Buds through Thursday, February 13. The Love Buds or mini-carnation pins cost two dollars and will be delivered with a special message to named recipients.
