Tuckahoe School Celebrates State Test Results

The Tuckahoe School celebrated making great strides in recently released state test scores. The district was deemed to have made adequate yearly progress in every category tested, which it failed to do last year. All the students who took last year’s algebra Regents passed the test, with more than 95 percent achieving mastery level, which requires a score above an 85. Teachers celebrated in the school library on Tuesday afternoon following a brief presentation from Superintendent Chris Dyer.ERIN McKINLEY
