Remsenburg-Speonk Propositions

In addition to the budget, Remsenburg-Speonk School District residents will be asked to vote on two other propositions:

Proposition 2 would authorize the district to continue sending students in grades seven through 12 to either the Westhampton Beach or Eastport South Manor school districts for the 2014-15 school year.

Proposition 3 would authorize the district to sign a one-year contract, beginning on July 1, with the Suffolk County Cooperative Library System. The contract, which would cost taxpayers $257,933, would allow hamlet residents access to the Westhampton Free Library.
