Science coordinator Jennifer Pascual took Brett Voegel’s and Christina Collins’s third-grade classes to the Sebonack Golf Course for their second science excursion on Monday. Students released their classroom crayfish into Sebonack’s crayfish pond and made predictions about how the crayfish will react to the change in their habitat. They also visited Sebonack’s frog pond to observe the tadpole habitat. Students tied this real-life experience to their English language arts module, where they have been learning about the adaptations of bullfrogs.
