Two Incumbents Reelected To East Hampton Village Board


Two incumbent members of the East Hampton Village Board of Trustees were reelected on June 17. Both ran unopposed.

Elbert Edwards, who has served on the board since 1977, was elected with 55 votes. Bruce Siska, who has served on the board since 2011, was elected with 53 votes, according to Village Administrator Rebecca Molinaro.

Two people received write ins on the ballot, said Ms. Molinaro. Michael Elinski, received two votes and John Wessberg received one vote.

Mr. Edwards, a 12th-generation Bonacker, is also involved in the Village Preservation Society and is president of Clinton Academy, among other organizations.

Mr. Siska, a plumbing contractor, previously served on the East Hampton Village Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Board.
